Paracetamol Treatment Line
Since the 2012 MHRA change the UK uses a single treatment line starting at 100 mg/L at 4 hours, with no separate high-risk line. This calculates the threshold at the given time and compares your measured level against it.
Before you use it
This applies ONLY to a single acute ingestion at a known time. Staggered ingestion, ingestion over more than one hour, or an unknown time all mean treat with NAC regardless of level. If in doubt, treat and ring TOXBASE.
